Ashfield Sees Seven Deed Transfers as Sale Prices Mostly Await Posting
Seven property deeds were recorded in Ashfield between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, but only one has a posted sale price so far: $200,000 for 297 Cummington Road, recorded Sept. 18. The other six transactions, on Buckland, Creamery, Bug Hill, Lilliput and Apple Valley roads and one unspecified address, had no price on file as of Sept. 19; figures typically post within about a week and may still appear. Two sellers were banks, PeoplesBank and UMassFive College Federal Credit Union, and two buyers were mortgage lenders, CrossCountry Mortgage and Rocket Mortgage. With pricing data this limited, the period's overall market tone cannot yet be assessed.
