Ashfield records 10 deed transfers in September, but most sale prices still pending

Franklin County Registry of Deeds recorded 10 property transfers in Ashfield between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3, but only two carried a posted sale price by deadline: $174,000 at 229 Creamery Road and $200,000 at 297 Cummington Road, the month's priciest recorded sale, for a median of $187,000 among priced sales. Creamery Road led all streets with three separate transfers, followed by Buckland Road with two. Several deeds appear to be trust or family-related transfers involving the same individuals as both seller and buyer, and two sales involved banks as sellers. With price data available for just two of 10 transfers, the dataset does not yet support a clear read on overall market tone this period.
