Ashfield Registry Records 11 Property Transfers, Two Prices Reported So Far
Ashfield recorded 11 property transfers between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26, according to Franklin County Registry of Deeds data, though sale prices have reached the registry for only two so far. Those two prices ranged from $174,000 to $200,000, with a $187,000 median. The period's highest-priced sale, at 297 Cummington Road for $200,000, listed CrossCountry Mortgage LLC and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. as grantee. Creamery Road saw three separate transfers, more than any other street. Several other transactions involved banks or credit unions as buyer or seller, and at least three appear to be transfers within the same family or trust. Pricing for the remaining nine sales was not yet available.
